TIDE NSSTC Data Archive and TIDE GSFC Data Archive

These two archives are set up the same way. All orbit, attitude, and level-zero data files are in the po_tid_lz_yymm/data/po directories, where yy is the two digit year and mm is the month. The orbit and attitude files prior to 07/16/97 are in def/or and def/at, after 07/15/97 they are in the pre/or and pre/at subdirectories. The level-zero files are in the tid/lz subdirectory. The mask and spacecraft potential files used in the TIDE data processing are in data/mask and data/scpot.

All of the summary plot files are in the po_tid_plt_yymm directories. Daily TIDE and PSI housekeeping plots are in hk/daily, month-long plots are in hk/trends. Daily count rate plots are in engspn_avg. The spectrogram plots used on the summany plot gif-walk are in htr_spectrograms in half_orbit, perigee, or plasmasphere subdirectories.

The TIDE high time resolution CDF files are in tid_cdf. The files contain moments and spectrogram data that can be plotted using the TIDE PAPCO Module or from the CDAWeb. Data for H+, O+, and He+ are in the h0_tid/1996. These files are only available from 03/28/96 through 09/30/96. Data for Total Ions are in h1_tid/yyyy and are available from 12/08/96 through the end of the mission.

Polar/Wind/Geotail (PWG) Data Archive

This is the initial (main) source of all orbit, attitude, level-zero, and key parameter data for the Polar, Wind, and Geotail missions. Until the Polar mission ends all recent data are in the nrt and uncompressed directories. The schedules for Deep Space Network contacts are in dsn. All Polar archived data files are in compressed/po. TIDE level-zero data are in tid/l0 and tid/lz. Since 01/01/05, all TIDE processing has been done using the tid/l0 files, prior to that the tid/lz files were used. Orbit and attitude files are in either the def or pre directories.

CDAWeb Polar FTP site

This is the archive for the NSSDC CDAWeb. It is the archive for key parameter, high time resolution, and ancilary data files for several missions including Polar. Orbit and attitude files are in def_or, pre_or, def_at, and pre_at. The original TIDE key parameter files are in tide, the 1996 ion data moments and spectrogram CDF files are in tide_h0/1996, and the Total Ion moments and spectrogram CDF files are in tide_h1/yyyy.
